I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to wake up one morning to find us suffering the effects of a society created as a consequence of selling off our public education system to private companies and saying, “WHAT HAVE WE DONE? All those years wasted on teaching to THE TEST and listening to ‘school choice’ advocates seemed like a good idea at the time.”
Career education bureaucrats, in symbiosis with the multi-billion dollar educational publishing and testing industry, have turned our schools into an assembly line conveyor belt on which state standards are spot-welded to the brains of students as they pass through each grade-level “workstation.” As such, our children are missing out on an education that can spark their imagination and give them the skills and positive mental models that will optimize their education as they continue on to middle school, high school, and beyond.
If we are to ever get a handle on providing THE BEST EDUCATION POSSIBLE for our children, we need to focus our attention on creating exceptional school environments in which learning—and a love for learning—will thrive.
Masterpieces of Learning will be a self-contained and fully integrated web-based program designed to replace all of the hard-to-synchronize, single-subject programs now purchased by school districts.
Once completed, Masterpieces of Learning can be easily customized to reflect the uniqueness of the region, state, county, and community in which a school is located. Teachers will even be able to customize it further to meet the specific needs of their students.
